James Bryan Conner, Harley-Davidson enthusiast

James “Jimmy” Bryan Conner, 63, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away peacefully Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, after complications from a courageous battle with HPV-driven throat cancer at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford.  He was born Aug. 29, 1959, in Wilmington, son of the late Ira and Rena Conner.

Jimmy was a graduate of Conrad High School. Following graduation, he mastered the electrical trade and was last employed at Congoleum as a journeyman industrial electrician. He was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast but his pride and joy was his 1949 Harley-Davidson Servi Car.  Jimmy loved his family above all.  He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend.  Loved by many, he will be genuinely missed by all who had the good fortune to know him.

Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara Conner of Rehoboth Beach; his sons:  James “JB” Conner, Gary Gray (Marie) and Nick Gray (Alicia); the four loves of his life, his grandchildren: Brendan, Deegan, Gabriella and Julianna; his brother, Bill; his sister, Christine; and his niece, nephews, and their children.

Friends and family will be invited to celebrate Jimmy’s life at a future date. 

Final care has been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
