Jewelry-making classes at Heidi Lowe Gallery to start Jan. 11

Starting in January, Heidi Lowe Gallery will offer a wide variety of 2.5-hour jewelry-making classes for people of all ages and abilities who are looking for something fun and creative to do.

“Our classes are great for any beginner students or those building on their skills. We can accommodate kids as young as 14 years old. It is a really fun way to spend the afternoon and finish with a handmade piece of jewelry in a safe, creative environment,” said Lowe.

Classes will take place from 12:30 to 3 p.m., Mondays. Each class will focus on a specific theme and set of jewelry-making skills. The schedule is as follows: Phases of the moon necklace or earrings, Jan. 11; ring with a tube setting, Jan. 25; hearts pendant, Feb. 8; forged earrings, Feb. 22; wire drawing earrings, March 22; mantra cuff bracelet, April 5; patterned statement earrings, April 19; and stackable rings, May 3.

Heidi Lowe Gallery is open for shopping by appointment, curbside pickup, and private and group classes at 17522 Ward Ave. #2, Lewes.

The Heidi Lowe Gallery team is following all COVID-19 safety guidelines and protocols outlined by the CDC and government officials. The health and safety of the community are of the utmost importance. Classes are limited in size to enable social distancing. Tools and surfaces are cleaned frequently. Proper mask-wearing is required at all times while in the studio. Using hand sanitizer upon arrival is required, and sanitizer is readily available throughout classes, as are sanitizing wipes. The team will be monitoring the situation closely, and adjusting guidelines and protocols as needed to ensure the safety of students and staff.
