Jimmie Allen to help promote Milton’s natural assets in chamber guide

Country music star and songwriter Jimmie Allen, a Milton native, was recently asked to help promote his hometown’s natural assets in Milton Chamber’s upcoming directory and visitors guide, and his response was a quick “Yes!”

After all, he continues to return to his hometown roots to visit family and friends, and he enjoys fishing and the great outdoors right here in coastal Delaware.

“Our pride for Jimmie, wife Lexi and his family expands well beyond the Milton-Harbeson region,” said Karen Falk, Greater Milton Chamber of Commerce executive director. “We were thrilled when Jimmie agreed to be a part of our upcoming guide. Locals and visitors are well aware of our outdoor recreation assets, but with Jimmie’s help, we are going to create a message to take care of our environment while enjoying our many additional natural resources.”

Grammy-nominated Allen continues to be an advocate for local businesses throughout his hometown region and returns home for concert fundraisers to support the local community. He is an American Country Music and Country Music Awards winner, and currently performs his hits as a special guest on The Denim & Rhinestones Tour with headliner Carrie Underwood. He will also be a judge, along with Mickey Guyton and Orville Peck, for “My Kind of Country,” a new Nashville-themed music competition series streaming on Apple TV+, executive produced by Reese Witherspoon and Kacey Mulgraves.
