John ‘Paul’ Nester IV, huge sports fan

J. Paul Nester, 66, of Fulton, Ga, formerly of Seaford, died of heart failure after three strokes, Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2019.
Paul was born in Syracuse, N.Y. June 17, 1953, the son of Patricia Livingston Thompson Nester and John Paul Nester III.

Paul attended Seaford High School, class of 1971, and Delaware Tech. His grandfather, C. Toby Thompson, founded the Seaford Leader newspaper. Paul worked in the auto industry for most of his life, and had a few businesses, including P&P Motors and 3rd Base Lounge. He was a very avid sports fan and a gourmet cook. He loved his family and friends, and was there in their times of need and emergencies.

He is survived by four daughters, Lana Livingston Nester of Milton, Sara Beth Nester of Delmar, G.H. of Laurel, and J.Y. of Las Vegas, Nev.; a sister, Sarah Livingston Bussey of Las Vegas; three nephews; one niece; and granddaughter Marisa Livingston Golan.

Services will take place at St. Luke's Cemetery in Seaford.
