Johnson Orthodontics awards gift card to Love Creek teacher
Dr. Jonathan Johnson and the team at Johnson Orthodontics recently ran a special contest in honor of National Teacher Appreciation Week.
Patients were asked to nominate their favorite teacher and describe them in one word. Responses included terms like “amazing,” “engaging,” “compassionate” and even “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.” The randomly selected winner was Love Creek Elementary School third-grade teacher Annette Couch, who was nominated by her student Julia Freebery for being so “nice.”
Johnson surprised Couch with a $300 gift card for her classroom, and her lucky students will celebrate her win with a pizza party compliments of Johnson Orthodontics.
Showing appreciation for teachers and school staff has always been a priority for Johnson. The son of two elementary school teachers, he is committed to supporting local schools and wants to thank teachers for their dedication to the children in the community. He also appreciates them routinely letting him borrow their students for orthodontic appointments.
