Johnson Orthodontics surprises Beacon teacher Adam Kindl with gift card

February 14, 2019

Dr. Jonathan C. Johnson surprised Beacon Middle School teacher Adam Kindl with a $200 VISA gift card Feb. 4.

Kindl was nominated by student Abby Betts, who dropped his name into a fish bowl in Johnson’s office. The money is his to spend on his classroom and/or students in whichever way he feels best. The quarterly fish bowl drawing is Johnson’s way of saying thanks to all those teachers who exhibit patience and understanding toward students who must miss class to attend regular orthodontic appointments.

The son of two elementary school teachers, Johnson is committed to supporting local schools and looks forward to surprising another teacher this spring.
