Jones a woman of integrity, character

May 7, 2021

When Carolyn Jones joined the group of candidates vying to serve as Lewes City Council member, it was an immediate boon for the community.  I have known Carolyn for over 25 years when she served as director, Office of Human Resources, Smithsonian Institution.  She is goal-oriented and sets clear objectives in every area she undertakes.  She was instrumental in the development of several major policies that made a significant difference in the lives of more than 6,500 employees.  Her passion and compassion also were evident in her service to the institution, where she received The Robert A. Brooks Award for Excellence in Administration.

Carolyn has a well-known volunteer presence and a fully established reputation of service in the Lewes community as is evident in her work with the farmers market, where she supported the expansion of services to meet the critical needs of residents.

Carolyn genuinely cares about people and wants to make a difference.  She also is a woman of integrity and character.  Therefore, her campaign deserves full attention.
