Jovie L. Wright, beautiful little girl
Jovie L. Wright, 9, of Temple, Pa, passed away tragically Saturday, Dec. 24, 2022, in Lewes. She was born April 1, 2013, in West Reading, Pa., daughter of Jason Wright and Tonya Silsavage Wright.
Jovie was more than the average 9-year-old girl. She had spunk and effervescence that could fill a room. Jovie loved art and drawing, and she belonged to the art club at school. She enjoyed building projects with LEGOS, video games (especially Animal Crossing and Minecraft), and everything Disney princesses. Jovie was a beautiful little girl who loved her family and friends, and whose smile and laughter will be deeply missed by everyone who was blessed to have known her.
Jovie was preceded in death by her Mama Llama, Jessica Guida; her granddad, Vincent Guida; her pop pop, Gerald Huss; and her great-grandfather, Bernard Wright. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings: Christian Guida and Cole Wright of Temple, Pa., and Drake Calhoun and Hazel Calhoun of Reading, Pa; her nana, Debra Huss of Lewes; her grandparents: Nancy and Michael Wright of Reading, and Judy and Keith Silsavage of Leesport, Pa; her great-grandmother, Betty Wright of Reading; and her uncles: Bradley Wright (Amanda) of West Lawn, Pa., Matt Silsavage (Jenna) of Leesport, Vincent Guida (Rebecca) of Downingtown, Pa., and Ryan Huss (Stephanie) of Claymont.
A funeral service will be held at noon, Saturday, Jan. 14, at James Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Interment will take place at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 16, at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Pilottown Road, Lewes.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes.
