Judith H. Sernyak, 80 of Lewes died at home in the early hours of Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2021, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Judy was born April 2, 1940, in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Sila and Helen (Gorham)Mercadante.

Judy worked as a laboratory technician at Riddle Hospital in Media, Pa., for several years where she developed many wonderful friendships. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing cross stitch, and loved to laugh. Judy also gave her whole self to her family in every way possible, especially with her grandchildren.

Judy is survived by the numerous people who loved her and will always remember her.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium.
