Keith B. Lockerman Sr., talented carpenter

Keith B. Lockerman Sr., of Ellendale, formerly of Cape May, N.J., passed away at home Monday, Nov. 19, 2018.

Keith was a talented carpenter who could build anything.  In addition to construction, he worked as a commercial fisherman, commercial clammer and mechanic.  He also worked for many years as a salesman with his family business, Lockerman Auto Parts.  Keith loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley (Lowe) Lockerman; his parents, George L. “Les” and Irene (Russo) Lockerman; and two sisters, Georgina Nickerson and Lisa Chanoux.

Keith is survived by two children, Jennifer Lockerman and Keith Lockerman Jr. and wife Lexi; four grandchildren, Christian Smith, Layla Lockerman, Blaze Lockerman and Leo Stowe; his longtime companion and friend, Josie Maclaine; a nephew, Mike Chanoux; Jennifer and Keith’s mother, Sue (Gegan) Lockerman; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.  

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 8, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, with a time of visitation for family and friends from noon to 1 p.m.
