Kelly G. Brower, retired head teller

Kelly G. Brower, 58, of Millsboro went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 at Bayhealth  South Campus in Milford.

She was born May 22, 1961, in Philadelphia, Pa., daughter of the late John and Margaret (McMurtrie) Gibbons. She was the second youngest of six siblings and survived by four, Patricia (Dan) Brigidi, Bonnie Gibbons Becker, Gary Gibbons and Jack (Minta) Gibbons. She is preceded in death by her sister Deborah Kunz.

She attended Holy Rosary Elementary School and went on to graduate from Claymont High School in 1980. She worked at Wilmington Trust in Rehoboth Beach as a head teller in her younger years. She was the most loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She was a loving, silly soul who loved to laugh. And milkshakes, oh, how she loved her chocolate and vanilla milkshakes.

She leaves to cherish her memories three children, Ryan Brower and wife Taylor Brower and their son whom she adored, Evan Brower; Jillian Brower and Shane Brower. Also, her nieces and nephews; Maggie Scarpato, Kat Scarpato, Stacey (Brad) Wortz, Scott Becker, Sean Becker, Amy Gibbons, John Gibbons and Bobby (Melissa) Kunz, as well as many cousins. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15,  at 1 p.m.  Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 274 N. Rehoboth Blvd. Milford. Burial will take place after the service at Millsboro Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her mother and father.
