Kenneth ‘Kenboy’ Watson, enjoyed working on cars

Kenneth “Kenboy” Watson took his transition Monday, May 25, 2020, in Wilmington. Kenneth was born in Northampton County, Va., Saturday, Oct. 28, 1961, to the late Frank and Marie Watson. He was the sixth oldest child.

Kenneth attended Cape Henlopen High School and graduated with the class of 1979. He was self employed and loved detailing and working on cars. His compassion were his grandchildren. Sugar Wugar, his granddaughter Aireman Az’riele Tingle, was his heart.

In addition to grandparents and other ancestors, Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Marie Watson; brother Frank Watson Jr.; nieces, nephews; and brother-in-law Rev. Howard Rogers

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memories wife Anna Watson; three children, Kenmeita Tingle of Dover, Jiovann Tingle of Harrisburg. Va.,  and Jermaine Tingle of Smyrna; three brothers, Henderson Watson of Dover, Larry Watson of Wilmington and Terrance Watson of Georgetown; four sisters, Ella Rogers of Coconut Creek, Fla., Denise Jones (Jerry) of Douglasville, Ga., Paulette Watson of Dover and Brenda Watson of Milford; one uncle, Manchester Brisco of Milton; one aunt, Doretha Howard of Philadelphia; five grandchildren, Aireman Az’riele Tingle of Travis Air Force Base, Calif.. Gianni Tingle of Virginia, Kenneth Bradley of Dover, Kenneth Mebane of Dover and Kensley Tingle of Dover; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, June 8, at 11 a.m. Friends may visit at Bennie Smith Funeral Home 717 W. Division St., Dover.
