Kent-Sussex Industries’ Aktion Club supports Milford Lions

July 16, 2018

Kent-Sussex Industries’ Aktion Club, a community service organization for adults with developmental disabilities, actively supports the Milford Lions Club. While vision care is a primary focus for Lions Clubs globally, the Aktion Club at KSI helps them and other groups that provide support to local residents in need.

Not only have KSI’s Aktion Club members joined forces with the local Lions Club to give back, but they also can be counted on each winter to ring the bell for Salvation Army at Walmart. They read to seniors, and have organized collection drives for the SPCA, veterans, children’s programs, the elderly and others.

KSI is a nonprofit agency providing vocational training, employment, supported employment, community integration, transportation, day habilitation and nutritional services to individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties. KSI is committed to making all reasonable accommodations in order to ensure that its programs and services are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
