Kim and Evans Family Foundation golf outing set April 24

Event to benefit Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence
March 5, 2023

The Kim and Evans Family Foundation will host its third annual golf outing fundraiser Monday, April 24, at Peninsula Golf and Country Club near Millsboro.

Proceeds from the event will support the foundation’s initiatives to provide necessary items including footwear and food to local families in need and local veterans.

A Superhero Golf Outing is the event theme, and participants can enjoy 18 holes of golf, delicious snacks and opportunities to win prizes.

The foundation is partnering with the Bryan Allen Stevenson School of Excellence, a charter school set to open this fall on the grounds of Delaware Tech in Georgetown.

Opening with grades six and seven, with a strong focus on academic rigor and social justice, the school’s mission is to create pathways through proximity for its students, their families and the community.

Bryan Stevenson is a civil rights lawyer who has dedicated his career to helping the poor, the incarcerated and the condemned. He is the founder of the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, Ala. For more information about Stevenson and the school named in his honor, go to basseinc.org.
