Kim Sackett, model, author

Kim Sackett, nee Kim Sun Ok, 78, born April 27, 1940, in Seoul, Korea, went to be with the only father she knew, her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, July 11, 2018. She was a child of war, was orphaned two times, and overcame much adversity. She became a successful model, cosmetologist and author.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, George B. Sackett Jr.; her daughter, Cindy Lou Rosado and husband Eddie; her son, John Henry Atkinson; and four grandchildren: Bradley, Ryan, Conor and Tyler.

A funeral service will be held Thursday, July 19, at 11 a.m., at Parsell Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, where friends may call beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the services at Henlopen Memorial Park, 28787 Lockerman Road, Milton.
