KSI announces management promotions

Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. announced several promotions within its management team as the organization moves forward for new growth.

Barbara Wilson was promoted to director of human resources, providing effective, consistent coordination and implementation of HR business processes, functions and procedures. She is responsible for all HR duties including benefit administration, employee compensation, recruiting and hiring coordination, conducting on-boarding and orientation for new staff, management of agency training, and all aspects of unemployment.

Randy Wroten was promoted to community-based operations manager, responsible for day-to-day operations, staffing and scheduling for all of KSI’s community-based work sites. Wroten manages relationships and contracts with all host companies for KSI work crews, as well as ensuring safety and operational compliance for KSI workers within those companies’ sites.

Shawn Bowman was named director of facilities management, responsible for all management of maintenance, repairs, upgrades and new construction at KSI’s Skill Development building and grounds, as well as KSI’s off-grounds leased properties.

Tony Gonzalez was promoted from transportation manager to director of logistics. He manages all operations of KSI’s transportation fleet, insurance coordination, accident review and risk management, Department of Transportation and Division of Motor Vehicles regulation compliance and staffing.

Dennis Marlin was promoted to transportation manager, handling the daily needs of the organization’s transportation fleet and drivers to serve its program participants. Marlin manages all scheduled vehicle maintenance and driver route development, as well as assisting with staff hiring.

Cal Jones was named director of operations. Jones is responsible for managing all contract production operations as part of KSI’s pre-vocational training for individuals with disabilities. He also manages KSI’s shipping and receiving department, and personal protective equipment supplies.

Mark Reeve was promoted to director of communications, generating a wide variety of KSI’s printed and video marketing and advertising materials to help raise awareness of the organization’s mission and impact. He also acts as a liaison between KSI and business partners.

KSI is a private, nonprofit agency providing training and employment services to individuals with disabilities in Kent and Sussex counties since 1962.
