LeBron James decided to come to Philly by posting a long message on X explaining his decision. He believes Philadelphia provides him the best chance to win a fifth championship in the next two years. It is very true that the 76ers' starting five are extremely talented with Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, Jaylen Brown, LeBron James and their young second year player, VJ Edgecombe. The coaching staff is going to have its work cut out for them trying to keep these four superstar players happy for the whole season in terms of spreading out the scoring and who is going to control the ball on offense. Everyone is going to be crossing their fingers that LeBron James can find the Fountain of Youth again. He is undoubtedly the best 40-plus basketball player ever, but he’s one significant injury away from being done.

A lot of new 76ers fans will come out of the woodwork, and when we play the Knicks, there will not be more Knick fans in the building than Sixers fans like there were in the playoffs last year.

Ever since the all-star break, the Phillies have been terrible! They have lost nine of the first 12 games! I will be very happy when the month of July is over. They have a lot of work to do before the trade deadline, which is on Monday at 6 o’clock. They have to reconstruct most of their bullpen and find a consistent right handed batter for the starting lineup. They are way too left handed heavy this year. 

It’s not even a forgone conclusion that they will make the playoffs right now. If not, this year will be a complete failure with how talented the roster is supposed to be. 

The Eagles have started training camp practice. The big story is going to be the transition to another different offense. I hope this works very well. It’s supposed to be a much more complicated scheme for them to play. I’m also very happy that AJ Brown is no longer on the team. His antics were getting very annoying to listen to. The defense is going to be very good again this year. I expect the Eagles and Cowboys to contend for the division title. The Giants and Commanders should be better than they were last year, but not division winners. Go Birds!
