Lee Richard Boyce Sr., 90, affectionately known as Buddy and Pop, passed away Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022, at home in Collingswood, N.J., of heart disease.
He was born Sept. 22, 1953, in Philadelphia, Pa., son of Richard and Jane (Greer) Boyce.
Lee was a sergeant in the Air Force from 1973-77, and later a senior lab technician at the Gulf, Chevron and Sunoco refineries. Lee was a lifelong union supporter and served as union president of his Local 2-1.
He is survived by one sister, Laura; three sons, Lee Jr., Jim and Dan; three loving daughters-in-law, and three treasured grandchildren.
There will be a private graveside service and inurnment at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
