Lefty’s Alley & Eats hosts wounded warriors

March 5, 2019

Lefty’s Alley & Eats in Lewes hosted 15 veterans and active military members of the Wounded Warrior Project, along with their families, for an afternoon of bowling, laser tag and food Feb. 23. The event was one activity of many that the group enjoyed over the weekend at the Delaware beaches.

The Wounded Warrior Project assists veterans and service members who have incurred a physical or mental injury, illness or wound while serving in the military on or after Sept. 11, 2001. All of the services and programs are free to help warriors set ambitious goals and celebrate accomplishments.
