Lefty’s chef teaches class at food bank culinary school

Lefty’s Executive Chef Tom Kramer recently taught a pasta-making class to Culinary School students at the Food Bank of Delaware in Milford. The students enjoyed instruction on fresh-made ravioli, angel hair and herb-infused pasta.

The Culinary School at the Food Bank of Delaware provides valuable job training to adults in a 14-week program which includes a two-week internship. The program offers students hands-on training in basic and high-end kitchen skills, safe food handling and life skills for job placement. The school is a trade school certified by the Delaware Department of Education.
