Lefty’s collecting school supplies for Cape through Aug. 26

For the third year, Lefty’s Alley & Eats will be a drop-off location for school supplies for the Caravan of Caring for the Cape Henlopen Educational Foundation.
Regardless of where students will be participating in classes, many in the community will not be able to afford the extensive list of required school supplies.
This initiative is intended to help district homeless and low-income students who come to school without paper, notebooks, pencils and other necessary supplies.
Supplies will be collected at Lefty’s on behalf of CHEF up until Wednesday, Aug. 26, at which point they will be distributed throughout the district.
