Leon Weston Hall of Millsboro passed away peacefully Saturday, June 20, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Millsboro May 28, 1938, the son of the late Levi Weston Hall and Jeannette Katherine (Banks) Hall.

Leon endured profound loss at an early age. His mother died when he was just 3, and by 6 he had also lost his father. He was lovingly raised by his grandparents, Timothy and Florence Banks, until their passing, and later by his devoted aunt and uncle, Virgil Banks Sr. and Mildred Banks, whose guidance and care helped shape the man he would become.

Following his graduation from high school, Leon proudly served his country in the U.S. National Guard. He later enjoyed a long and dedicated career with E.I. DuPont in Seaford, where he worked for many years before his retirement.

A lifelong supporter of his community, Leon was a proud lifetime member of Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and was honored with induction into the Delmarva Firemen's Hall of Fame in recognition of his years of service and dedication. He was also a member of the Vintage Car Club of America and enjoyed sharing his passion for classic automobiles with fellow enthusiasts.

Leon found great enjoyment in watching NASCAR and local dirt track racing, attending cruises and car events, and serving as an umpire for Millsboro Little League. Whether at the ballfield, the racetrack, or a community event, he was known for his friendly nature, steady presence, and willingness to lend a helping hand.

In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Elizabeth Ann (Atkins) Hall; his brother, Frank Hall; and his sister, Ioana Turley.

He is survived by his son, Glenn Hall; his granddaughter, Leanne Hall; his nieces and nephews, Lisa Haas (Keith), Holly Pfleger (Jimmy), Lori Parker (Burke), Mary Carol Hudson, John Turley, Paul Turley, Lisa Stoeckel (Larry), Shelly Swafford (Dwayne) and Janelle Pulice (Tim); his sisters-in-law, Janice Hall and Alice Rowe; as well as many great-nieces, -nephews, extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 29, at Watson Funeral Home and Crematorium, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment will follow immediately after the service at Millsboro Cemetery.

Casual dress is requested by the family.

Leon's legacy of service, dedication to his community and love for family and friends will be remembered for generations to come.
