Just what we need like a hole in your head - another Royal Farms. There is a Royal Farms going to be built at the most terrible junction of Route 5 and Route 9 at Harbeson. Along with the increased traffic, they took away our great Harbeson Post Office.
Then there is the never-engineered Malfunction Junction that will never be cured if they do anything at that corner of Robinsonville Road and Route 9. Now they want to build another Royal Farms?
Not agreed to now, but I can see that it will mysteriously get passed in the future. Probably during the snowstorm when the public can’t make it to the meeting but somehow the board and Royal Farms do make it to the meeting - like other agreements were made.
Put a light in at the Vineyards and one over at Beaver Dam Road, and that is where all traffic will be diverted to Plantation Road. The farmer will certainly sell just the width of a road to the state, close off Malfunction Junction at Five Points and voila, problem well taken care of.
