Letter: City says thanks for tree lighting, sing-along

November 30, 2018

The City of Rehoboth Beach brought in the holiday season Nov. 23, with the annual tree lighting and sing-along at the Bandstand. Frigid temperatures didn’t stop the holiday spirit from lighting up downtown as the community kicked off the season.

Thank you to all the people who helped make the event possible. A very special thank you to John L. Briggs & Company, George W. Plummer & Son, Delmarva Power, Rehoboth Streets Department, Rehoboth Beach Police Department, Cape Gazette, Clear Space Theatre, WSFS Bank, Bandstand Program Director Corey Groll, and Pat and Paul Romaine for generously donating the tree this year.

From all of us at the City of Rehoboth Beach, we wish you and your family a safe and happy holiday season.

Sharon Lynn
city manager, City of Rehoboth Beach
