Letter: Coast Guard thanks shutdown supporters

February 8, 2019

It has been a number of days since the government shutdown ended, and throughout this time we have been continuing our work responding to the needs of our U.S. Coast Guard families.

We are honored and humbled by the outpouring of generosity and kindness from so many who were motivated to join the Coast Guard Foundation’s mission to help those in need. With your support, we were able to provide over $600,000 to families across the country from Hawaii, Florida, Boston, Alaska and everywhere in between.

Thank you for your support and continued care for the U.S. Coast Guard families who serve us all every day. Semper Paratus,

Susan P. Ludwig
President, Coast Guard Foundation
