Letter: Maull-Martin honest, dedicated, hardworking

April 19, 2019

This letter is in support of Janet Maull-Martin, a candidate for the Cape Henlopen school board.

I have known Janet since her early childhood. Our families worked, worshipped and were educated together. Janet is a fine example of how the Lewes village worked to make sure their children achieved and became successful in life.

Times were very challenging in those days, but the Lewes community as a whole looked out for each other. The Maull family was well respected and Janet went on to make them proud. She was in the first graduation class at Cape Henlopen High School, the same year I became a teacher in the new Cape Henlopen District.

From that day on, Janet was on her way to better things, and once she graduated from college she went forth to serve. She finally came back home to teach and give back to her community.

Janet Maull-Martin has knowledge and experience in every respect when it comes to education and the Cape Henlopen School District.

She has been a teacher, coach, and administrator. Every position she has held exemplified excellence. Janet is honest, dedicated and a hard worker who cares about all students and their future. Voting for Maull is definitely voting for all.
