Letter: We wouldn’t live anywhere but here

January 24, 2019

One year ago, my partner suffered a devastating, massive stroke - right side paralyzed, no verbal communication. Since then, she has made significant progress, but there is still such a long road ahead. She works with awesome therapists every day to keep improving.

My point in writing this is to tell you what a wonderful place this is in which to live. I can’t express the gratitude we feel for the support of family, friends, neighbors and strangers alike. Prayers, encouragement and donations have poured in from everywhere.

With all the divisiveness in the country, it is heartening to know there is still love, kindness and generosity in the world. We wouldn’t live anywhere else.
