Letter: Women’s Club of Milton among town contributors

April 16, 2019

The Women’s Club of Milton was pleased to see the recognition of all the community organizations that contribute to the enrichment of the Town of Milton.

For the last 46 years the WCOM, formerly known as the Milton Century Club, has been a proud participant in Milton’s renaissance.

A member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs’ volunteer service organizations, the WCOM sponsors the annual Milton Holiday House Tour, always actively supported by the Cape Gazette. The proceeds of the tour and other activities are given back to the Milton community in the form of college scholarships and donations to local organizations.

Thank you for the opportunity to include the WCOM on the list of organizations dedicated to Milton’s success. We encourage all to continue working together to keep Milton “On the Map.”

Thanks again for the Cape Gazette’s support and attention as Milton has evolved into “The Place to Be!”

Linda King
president, Women’s Club of Milton
