Lewes has long been recognized as one of the most picturesque towns in the United States, having earned awards from America in Bloom and Communities in Bloom several times in the last decade.

Judges from America in Bloom toured the First Town in the First State July 13, as city leaders attempt again to have its volunteers recognized for the hundreds of hours they put in to make Lewes beautiful.
