Lewes man wins $10K playing lottery instant game

December 23, 2021

Michael McClay, a 55-year-old man from Lewes, has claimed the latest $10,000 top prize from the Instant Game Cash Flurries. McClay purchased the winning ticket from his local Shore Stop #254 in Lewes.

"Cash Flurries has been on a real hot streak this month, and we're happy to see another Instant Game fan bring home such an exciting top prize," said Vernon Kirk, director of the Delaware Lottery. "We hope it adds some extra cheer to Mr. McClay's holiday season."

A lifelong Delaware resident, McClay has been playing the Delaware Lottery ever since he turned 18. He enjoys all the chances to win big that Instant Games have to offer, and he usually purchases two tickets at a time.

This is the second $10,000 prize from the Instant Game Cash Flurries to be claimed. At press time, three top prizes of $10,000 remain.

McClay claimed his prize from Lottery Headquarters Dec. 7.
