Lisa Shae Pilling, devoted to family
Lisa Shae Pilling, 42, of Seaford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022.
Lisa was born July 4, 1980, in Milford, to her mother, Bebe Elizabeth Moore.
Lisa was a loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, and friend. She worked for Rite Aid for over 20 years. She loved doing puzzles with her best friend and traveling. She loved the outdoors, and enjoyed things like camping, hiking, and fishing.
Lisa is preceded in death by her Mom-Mom, Beatrice Moore.
In addition to her mother, she will be greatly missed by her husband of seven years, Eddie A. Pilling Jr.; her three children, Brianna E. Brennan-Pilling, Arabella J. Pilling and “Little Eddie” A. Pilling III; her sister, Elaine Chiasson; her brother, Eddie Braswell; her sister-in-law, Bridget Davis; her mother- and father-in-law, Cathy and Ed Davis; her father-in-law, Ed Pilling Sr.; her cousins, Chris Corbi, Steven Friend and Jason Lawson; her close friends, who have been a rock to the family during this time, Hannah and Ayaz Ashraf; as well as her dogs, Tucker and Danny; and her cat, Tessi.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 19, at Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown. A time of visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment is private.
