Lynn Wilson, a longtime supporter of and volunteer with the Rehoboth Beach Historical Society, was recognized May 15 for her legacy of generosity.
Since the inception of RBHS, Wilson has been a board member, volunteer and vocal supporter of the society. She spent years organizing the files in its library that are used by both academic and casual researchers. Without her years of painstaking effort, the files would be neither accurate nor accessible.
Family and friends gathered to celebrate her recognition and to learn about a new program named in her honor, the Lynn D. Wilson Lecture, that will occur annually at the society’s headquarters in the Rehoboth Beach Museum.
