Registration discounted through June 20
June 16, 2019

The Lewes Public Library will hold its 3rd Annual Loopin' for the Library Recreational Bike Ride Saturday, June 22. The rides begin and end at the library with three different routes for every type of rider: a five-mile family-friendly loop, a 10-mile ride, and a 20-mile grand loop along the trails of Lewes, Cape Henlopen and Rehoboth.

All registered riders receive a free water bottle and post-event refreshments. Riders 13 and over also get a T-shirt, and riders 12 and under receive spoke beads for their bikes. Those who register by Thursday, June 20, will save $10 on the $40 registration fee. Riders ages 12 and under participate for free but still must register.

For event details and to register online, go to http://bit.ly/Loop_In_Lewes. To register in person, go to Lewes Cycle Sports at 526 E Savannah Road, Lewes between 4 and 7 p.m., Thursday, June 20 or Friday, June 21. Day-of registration will take place at the library from 7 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, June 22.

All proceeds from the ride go to support Lewes Public Library, an independent library which must raise more than 50 percent of its annual operating budget each year. Fundraisers like this allow the library to keep the doors open and continue to bring wonderful programs and offerings free to the public.
