Lord Baltimore Lions Club hosts dinner and awards night
The Lord Baltimore Lions Club held its 73rd Charter Night Dinner and installation of new officers for 2019-20 at Cripple Creek Golf & Country Club in Dagsboro June 12.
Lions gathered with family members and guests to commemorate completion of a 73rd year of service to the local community.
Kenny Vincent, Lions District governor-elect for 22D attended this special evening with his partner in service Lion Cindy Vincent. DGE Kenny presided over the Lions installation ceremony and participated in the club awards ceremony.
The Lord Baltimore Lions Lion of the Year Honor went to Lion Don Sherwood. Special recognitions were given to Lion Ken Crooks for 55 years of service as a member of the Lord Baltimore Lions. Club Chaplain Lion Norman Justice, a 35-year member, was recognized with a special Lions Appreciation Award for his dedication and commitment to his club.
The Lord Baltimore Lions Club members following were elected and will serve in the following leadership positions though June 2020.

The Lord Baltimore Lions Club service area includes Bethany Beach, Ocean View, Millville, Frankford, Clarksville and Dagsboro. Club members meet at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Wednesday of each month at Mac’s Catering in Millville.
