Louis Frederick Meyers Jr., dedicated Elks member

Louis Frederick Meyers Jr., 82, of Frankford, formerly of Pasadena, Md., passed away at his home Saturday, March 21, 2020. He was born in Baltimore, Md., Nov. 27, 1937, son to the late Louis Frederick Meyers Sr. and Virginia Molly Raum. Lou loved, traveling, volunteering and managing at many organizations, having drinks and spending time with family and friends, and had an everlasting love for his wife. 

Lou was a longtime and dedicated member of the Elks Lodge and enjoyed his time spent there with friends. He once served as president of the Elks Lodge, and president of the community of Plantation Park II. He was a hard worker and enjoyed time spent outside, but was always ready for a good time and a cold beer. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Meyers in 1993; brother Richard Meyers in 2016; and his loving wife, Catherine B. Meyers, who passed away just 12 days prior on March 9. Lou is survived by his two daughters, Donna Marie Townsley and Catherine Ann Rychwalski; six grandchildren, Steven Eric Meyers, Sara Rychwalski, J. Nic Rychwalski, Amy Rychwalski-Salmon, Rebecca Hebel and Jason Cerasoli; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Lou’s Life will be held at a later date due to the current restrictions and precautions.
