Luxury Motors to open detail shop near Five Points

Luxury Motors has been running a successful dealership for low-mileage, high-end vehicles on the Forgotten Mile for nearly four years. Last year, they opened Luxury Auto Salon detail shop on Route 1 next to Midway Tire. 

Now, to further grow, owner John Ferguson said the detail shop will move to a brand new facility near Five Points this spring. Ground will soon be broken on an 8,100-square-foot facility on Nassau Commons Boulevard, just off Route 9. The facility will offer detail services, but will also feature a showroom, an indoor photo booth and plenty of office space.

“I think it’s going to be a good move,” Ferguson said.

He said the space next to Midway had its limitations, and building his own facility from the ground up will only improve the business. “It’s definitely going to be a lot more efficient for us,” he said. “This is going to be nice because it’s brand new.”

In addition to detailing services, he said, he plans to include a full-service repair facility, servicing all types of vehicles. If all goes according to plan, Ferguson said he hopes to open in early April.
