Man sought in Long Neck robbery

Delaware State Police are searching for man who robbed the Dash-In store Sept. 15 in Long Neck.

The man entered the convenience store at 10:51 p.m., walked up to the counter and implied that he had a weapon, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.

The man handed a plastic bag to the 18-year-old cashier, motioning to the cash register, Pepper said, and the cashier complied. The man then fled out the back door with an undisclosed amount of money and merchandise, she said. No one was injured during the incident.

The man is described as black, 5-feet-7-inches to 5-feet-10-inches tall, weighting 150-170 pounds, and wearing a Nike jacket and brown moccasin-style slippers. There is no vehicle description.
