Man sought in Millville bank robbery

Delaware State Police are searching for a man following a Dec. 29 robbery at Artisans’ Bank in Millvile.

The man walked into the Atlantic Avenue bank at 10:40 a.m., approached a bank teller behind the counter and displayed a note demanding money, said Sr. Cpl. Jason Hatchell of the Delaware State Police. The bank teller complied, and the man fled the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, northbound across Atlantic Avenue, Hatchell said.

The man is described as white, wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark pants, with a mask and a beanie hat. No one was injured during this incident and there are no surveillance photographs available at this time, Hatchell said.
