Mantra bracelet class at Heidi Lowe Gallery Oct. 12
Heidi Lowe Gallery will offer a mantra bracelet class from 1:30 to 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 12.
A mantra is an encouraging phrase or word repeated, oftentimes in meditation or prayer, to increase concentration.
This is a basic metalsmithing class where participants will learn to texture, cut, file and form metal to make a sterling silver bracelet with a personal mantra. Each student will create a unique piece of jewelry to wear home.
“Mantra bracelets are a fun way to remind you of your intention for the year, or to find a new one,” said Lowe.
Registration is open to anyone over age 13 and costs $100 per person plus a small materials fee. The class has limited availability. To register in advance, go to HeidiLoweJewelry.com.
