Marilyn ‘Sue’ Doney, devoted to family
Marilyn “Sue” Doney, 92, of Lewes died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was a devoted wife of Richard W. Doney, who predeceased her in 2008.
Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and a friend to all.
She is survived by her children, J. R. and his wife Mary Lou, John and his wife Natalie, and Debbie Whalen and her husband Joseph; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Howarth, Madison and Cameron Doney, Tyler and Hunter Whalen, Morgan Fabber and her husband Michael, Brenna de la Rosa and her husband Lyle; and great-grandchildren, Briana Fabber and Declan Whalen.
Services will be held Sunday, Nov. 18, at noon, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Burial will be private.
