Marylin Ann Hurt, home health aide

Marylin Ann Hurt, 72, of Georgetown passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at TidalHealth Nanticoke in Seaford.   She was born in York, Pa., Sept. 3, 1948, to the late Charles and Fern Kashner Hollingshead. 

Marylin worked as a home health aide.  She was a founding member of Healing Hearts Ministries, Rehoboth, and most recently attended Vital Church, Laurel.  She was a light who was loved by many, and considered a constant source of encouragement to all of her family and friends. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Hurt.  

Marylin is survived by four children, Teresa Farlow (Curtis), Christiana Duman (Thomas), Jeannie Biamby (Rodney) and Tina Goepel (Albert); one brother, Clark Hollingshead; nine grandchildren, Shanna, Jacob, Dylan, Haley, Leanne, Noah, Maliyah, Robert and Anna; as well as her second husband, Howard Hufnal.

Memorial services will be held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 6.  All in attendance must wear a mask and adhere to social distancing and gathering protocols.  

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to Healing Hearts Ministries, c/o Rodney Biamby, 15453 Weigelia Dr., Georgetown, DE 19947.
