Michael J. McGinn, ‘Mailman Mike’
Michael J. McGinn of Ocean View passed away peacefully at his home Friday, March 15, 2019.
He was born Sept. 13, 1957, in Washington D.C., to Margaret and Paul McGinn.
Michael was a U.S. postman for 3O years. He was a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and lifelong Redskins fan. His friends called him “Mailman Mike” and family called him “Mickey.”
Michael McGinn is survived by his mother Peggy McGinn; his daughter Sarah Werner; son-in-law Curtis Werner; and two granddaughters, Heidi and Greta. He is also survived by his sister Kathleen Barnes; brother-in-law Jim Barnes; and nephews Michael and Carson.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, March 21, at 10:30 a.m., at St Ann’s Catholic Church Bethany Beach. Arrangements by Melson Funeral Services.
