Michael Lee White, always had a big smile

Michael Lee White, 45, of Lewes went home to be with the Lord Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020.

He attended Cape Henlopen High School and worked in the poultry field. He also utilized his talents in landscaping. He was known to family and friends as “Mike White” or “Speedy.” One of his favorite foods was pork chops. He enjoyed living life to the fullest, and always had a big smile on his face!

He is survived by his children, Octevya Bruinton and Xavier Lee Michael Bruinton of Georgetown; his parents, Amelia Frazier and husband James of Rehoboth; and Berniece Lewis and husband James of Lewes; his siblings: Dwayne White and wife Stephanie of Florida, Tangi White of Florida, Theresa White of Lewes, Thomas White and wife Sheleena of Maryland, Molly White-Hall and husband Jerry, Toni White, James Lewis and wife Martha, Omar Lewis, Yolanda Daniels and husband Thomas, Travis Lewis and Justin Lewis, all of Delaware; grandchildren: Cree, Kainan, and Rubey Bruinton of Georgetown; and special friend Ashley Justice and children Michael and  James White. 

Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, Sept. 18, at noon. Family and friends may visit two hours prior to the service at St. John 2nd Baptist Church, 26602 Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro.
