Mid-Atlantic Symphony to perform live in Lewes Sept. 25

Mid-Atlantic Symphony Orchestra Music Director Julien Benichou previewed the 2021-22 season for approximately 70 area residents during a free program at the Lewes Public Library Sept. 18.

The program included performances by two orchestra musicians and a question-and-answer session.

The season will open at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, with a program including Beethoven’s “Symphony No. 3 (Eroica)” and works by Mussorgsky and Ravel.

Tickets are $45 and are available online at midatlanticsymphony.org or at the door, cash or check.

Subscriptions for the full season of five concerts, performed at the high school or Epworth United Methodist Church in Rehoboth Beach, are available online.
