Middle school sports awards announced at Worcester Prep

Worcester Prep recently announced its winter sports awards recipients.

Girls' basketball sports award recipients for the seventh-grade team were MVP - Linley Hill, Rehoboth Beach; Coaches Award - Annie Carter, Lewes; and Most Improved Player- Sophia Spadaro, Ocean City, Md. Recipients from the eighth-grade team were MVP - Lily Baeurle, Berlin, Md.; Coaches Award - Sumira Sehgal, Lewes; and Most Improved Player - Sydney Lamson-Reich, Rehoboth Beach.

Boys' basketball sports award recipients for the seventh-grade team were MVP - Jack Gardner, Salisbury, Md.; Coaches Award - Harrison Humes, Rehoboth Beach; and Most Improved Player - Ibrahim Kazi, Salisbury. Recipients from the eighth-grade team were MVP - Brice Richins, Berlin; Coaches Award - Mac Gates, Ocean City; and Most Improved Player - Austin Cannon, Salisbury.
