Millsboro man faces murder charge in Baywood golf course death

A Millsboro man was charged June 16 with the stabbing death of a man found on the property of Baywood Greens golf course.

Police found a dead man, Lewis Fetrow, 64, of Millsboro, on the golf course property on June 7, and following an investigation connected Michael Klein, 57, with the murder, said Sr. Cpl. Leonard DeMalto of the Delaware State Police.

Fetrow had been stabbed multiple times several days prior, DeMalto said.

Following the stabbing, DeMalto said, Klein was incarcerated at Sussex Correctional Institution on unrelated charges. He has been charged with first-degree murder and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.

Klein was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and remains committed at Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $1,060,000 cash bond.
