A Millsboro woman faces a felony theft charge after police say she had stolen $5,000 from her place of employment.

Danielle Serman, 29, was an employee of Uncle Willie’s at 28194 DuPont Blvd., Millsboro, where she had been voiding or refunding purchases since December 2020, said Master Cpl. Heather Pepper of the Delaware State Police.

She would void or refund purchases and then remove cash from the register, Pepper said, taking about $5,000 since December.

She was arrested Feb. 19 and charged with felony theft $1,500 or greater. She was arraigned in the Justice of the Peace Court 3 and released on her own recognizance.
