Milton Arts Guild 8x8 fundraiser reception set June 7
Milton Arts Guild’s annual 8x8 fundraiser closing reception, which includes the final bids, is set for 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, June 7, at Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor in Milton.
More than 60 pieces of art, each measuring only 8-by-8-inches, were created and donated by artist members, and are up for bid in a silent auction. Sales from these artworks go directly to MAG to continue funding its scholarship program, classes and workshops, and general operations.
All are welcome to come smell the lavender, enjoy tasty food and place their bids. Winning bidders go home with their favorite artwork. If any winners are not present, they can pay and pick up their artwork at the gallery at a later date.
Milton Arts Guild Gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday, at 310 Walnut St., Milton. Lavender Fields at Warrington Manor is at 18864 Cool Spring Road, Milton. For more information, go to www.miltonartsguild.org.
