Milton Arts Guild announces Artful Touch Nov. 15
Artful Touch is set for 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Milton Arts Guild. Award-winning local artist Anne Buck will get everyone into the holiday spirit with mini canvas ornaments. Attendees will create a memory or keepsake by painting with acrylic on 4x4 canvas boards, then mounting them for hanging. Participants can also elect to frame their creations for mini winter scene artworks. All supplies will be provided for hanging. Attendees should bring winter or holiday scene pictures and cards for reference.
Buck is an artist who loves the luminosity and translucence of watercolor and the impressionism of oils. Design and creativity have been infused in her education with a bachelor's degree in ornamental horticulture and landscape design, and a master’s degree in biology education, and in her career as a science teacher for Cape Henlopen School District. A member of the Delaware Watercolor Society, Rehoboth Art League, and Millsboro Art League, Buck is president of the Milton Arts Guild. The date for this month's Artful Touch is a week early to accommodate Thanksgiving holiday planning. MAG Artful Touch classes offer a no-pressure environment, making these classes a great way to try something new or to revisit an art style.
