Milton church granted partitioning

Milton Town Council unanimously granted partitioning of The Water’s Edge church property at 415 Union St. to allow the church to separate the parsonage from the church.

Town Project Coordinator John Collier said the property is currently for sale. Collier said the church officials say it is in their best interest to separate the two parcels. The church lot will be 17,000 square feet, while the parsonage lot will be 10,000 square feet. Collier said the partitioning met all the requirements of town code. Collier said the church plans to build a new building in Milton.

Representatives from The Water’s Edge did not respond to requests for comment.
